  • small empty Bonne Maman jam jars
  • self-hardening paste
  • paint
  • Christmas decorations
  • plants
  • small pieces of paper
  • glue sticks
  • felt-tip pens
Steps
  1. Shape your animals using self-hardening clay. You can start with simplified
shapes: an oval for the animal's body (to be placed on a table for a flat base) and a rounded triangle for its head. Then simply pinch the dough to form the two ears. Then join the head and body.
  2. Model details such as the animal's paws or tail to attach an empty Bonne Maman jar to its host. Here, for example, the fox is holding the jar with its tail. Or with its paws for the rabbit.
  3. Using a small point (knife, toothpick, fork...) draw the features of their faces. Then leave to dry for 24h-48h (or follow the instructions on the back of the self-hardening paste packet).
  4. You may decide to leave your animals untreated, or paint them with gouache or acrylic.
  5. Form mini-bouquets, with holly and fir for example, to decorate Bonne Maman pots. Add a few stars and mini Christmas decorations.
  6. On small pieces of paper (or directly on sticky labels), draw a red frame and write your guests' names in gold, as illustrated in the video. Glue the papers onto the Bonne Mam jars
