Steps
- For the sauce, mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- For the shrimp, preheat the barbecue to high.
- Place the shrimp on skewers.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Oil the barbecue grill or use baking paper designed for barbecue.
- Cook the shrimp skewers for 4 minutes on each side.
- Using a kitchen brush, coat the shrimp on both sides with the sauce and continue cooking for one minute.
- Place the skewers on a plate and garnish with chopped cilantro.
- Pour the remaining sauce into a small bowl. It is suggested to dip the shrimp in the sauce.
