Lacquered shrimp in sweet and spicy Thai chili sauce with Bonne Maman Orange Marmalade

Orange Marmalade

  • 340 g. large shrimp, peeled, deveined and uncooked
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the sauce

Steps
  1. For the sauce, mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. For the shrimp, preheat the barbecue to high.
  3. Place the shrimp on skewers.
  4. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
  5. Oil the barbecue grill or use baking paper designed for barbecue.
  6. Cook the shrimp skewers for 4 minutes on each side.
  7. Using a kitchen brush, coat the shrimp on both sides with the sauce and continue cooking for one minute.
  8. Place the skewers on a plate and garnish with chopped cilantro.
  9. Pour the remaining sauce into a small bowl. It is suggested to dip the shrimp in the sauce.
  10. Bonne Maman's tips

    If using wooden skewers, it is recommended to soak the skewers in water for 1 hour beforehand to prevent them from burning.
