YES! All our jams, jellies, and fruit spreads are made with natural ingredients: fruit, sugar, cane sugar, concentrated lemon juice, and fruit pectin. Bonne Maman products contain no preservatives, no additives, no high fructose corn syrup, and no sulfites.

Do Bonne Maman products contain high fructose corn syrup?

NO! The Bonne Maman recipe combines brown cane sugar (from sugarcane) and sugar from beets. This combination of sugars is part of our centuries-old recipe that helps create the special flavor and taste of Bonne Maman.

Are Bonne Maman products kosher?

YES, 20 of our 30 Bonne Maman product flavors are kosher. Circle U approval can be found on the front label of each jar. Our products are certified by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (NY).

What is the shelf life of Bonne Maman products?

We guarantee the quality of our jams and jellies for two years (24 months) after production (see the "best before" date printed on the side of the cap). Bonne Maman Intense fruit spreads are guaranteed for 1 year (12 months) after production. We recommend that all Bonne Maman products be refrigerated after opening. Although we do not guarantee our jams for a specific period of time after opening, by storing an opened jar with the cap tightly closed in your refrigerator, our products should last several weeks without any problems.

Are Bonne Maman jams and jellies nut-free?

Our Bonne Maman jams, jellies, and spreads are made with only fruit, sugar, lemon juice, and fruit pectin. None of our recipes use peanuts or sesame nuts. Our jams, jellies, and spreads are produced in a facility that also manufactures products containing hazelnuts and chestnuts. We follow highly controlled and strict cleaning processes (HACCP certification) throughout our facility, which minimize the risk of nut residue. We recommend discussing this information with your doctor to determine if Bonne Maman is appropriate for you and your family.

Are Bonne Maman compotes, jams, marmalades, jellies and spreads gluten-free?

YES! All Bonne Maman compotes, jams, marmalades, jellies, and spreads are gluten-free. This claim is determined by the fact that all the ingredients used in our products have <20 PPM, which is required for this claim. Our production site is therefore also gluten-free.
