Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C.
- In a salad bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until they turn white. While continuing to whisk, add the liquid cream. Then gently add the flour, yeast and almond powder. Then pour in the cooled melted butter and orange blossom water.
- Pour the mixture into a previously buttered and floured mold and bake in the oven at 150°C with fan for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove the cake from the oven, unmold it and leave it to cool on a rack.
- Prepare the icing by mixing the water and icing sugar until smooth.
- Cut out discs from the cake using a cookie cutter. Spread a disc with Bonne Maman Raspberry Jam and cover with a second disc.
- Cover with icing and let set for 30 minutes before serving.
