Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or compostable parchment paper.
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry (if not pre-rolled) into a square or rectangle about 12 X 12 inches.
- Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut about ½ inch of dough around the edges and fold the outer edge over to create a frame. Return to refrigerator while preparing the remaining ingredients or until the oven comes to temperature;
- Using a pastry brush, lightly brown the surface and edges of the puff pastry, and add a thin layer of Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam.
- Sprinkle with Gruyere cheese and chopped asparagus. Season with salt and pepper;
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the asparagus is tender. Let cool for 5 minutes before adding a handful of fresh microgreens and a drizzle of Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam, to taste.
