Steps
- Mix together the room-temperature butter and sugar. Add the salt, then the egg, and finally the flour.
- Form the dough into a ball and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Make about twenty small balls from the dough. Flatten them with the palm of your hand and draw a heart shape on each small ball with your fingers.
- Brush the shortbread with egg yolk and fill the hearts with Bonne Maman jam.
- In a hot oven, start cooking for 12 minutes at 180°C.
